Craftsman
I know a craftsman with a double edged sword in his hand
Skilled in jujitsu,
There’s no issues
Dividing lie from truth.
I know a craftsman
Called to tend
Hemming hedges
Risking it all to the very end
A carpenter,
Filled with wisdom
Willing to work-
With men at the backside of the desert
Understanding gold,
Fit for the mold
Furnace blazing
He’s the fourth man in the fire
I know a craftsman,
Sold by his brethren
Battered and bruised
Unwavering at a black hand
Building towers in dreamland
A carpenter,
Set on wood
His temple stood
Stamped by stone,
Deserving of the throne
I know a craftsman,
Tasked with telling stories
Written in eternity
With hearts as canvas’
This time not tablets of stone,
Building edifices
Fit for princes
And principalities
Capable to contend
I know a man called Melchizadeck
Standing at the gate called time
Looking for carpenters amongst business men
Artist amongst commuters
And over-comers on the underground
Like Bezalels
Hidden in plain sight
I know a craftsman looking for you.
